At Live Your Life Counseling, all of our therapy services are offered through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth. This means you can meet with your therapist from the comfort and privacy of your own home, no commuting, no waiting rooms, and no added stress.
What Is Telehealth Therapy?
Telehealth therapy (also called online therapy or virtual counseling) is a secure way to receive therapy using a video platform. You'll meet with your therapist in real time for an approximately 55-minute session, just like you would in person, but online.
All you need is:
- A reliable internet connection
- A private, quiet space
- A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone
You'll receive a secure video link before each session. Just click the link at your scheduled time to begin.
What If There's a Technical Issue?
Technology isn't perfect and sometimes things happen. If technical difficulties arise and the session becomes disconnected and reconnection is not possible, your therapist will complete the session with you by phone. Your therapist will call you at the phone number we have on file. If you would like your therapist to use a different number, please let them know before the session begins. We want to ensure your care continues without interruption.
